AKINRINADE MORAKINYO OLUWOLA – Director, Special Services
Mr. Morakinyo Akinrinade was born on 8th June, 1965 in Agege. He attended St Saviours African Church Primary School, Oniwaya, Agege near Anwar-ul Islam (Ahmadiyya) College between 1971-1973, later joined St Judes Primary School, Isolo, Mushin where he completed his First School Leaving Certificate in 1976.
Still in 1976, he started is secondary school education at Arch Bishop Aggrey Memorial College, Mushin, Lagos and later moved I. C. H. S., Ifo in Ogun State.
Mr. Akinrinade proceeded to Moshood Abiola Polytechnic formerly Ogun State Polytechnic, where he finished his A/Level Programme in June 1987 from there proceeded to the University of Ibadan where he bagged a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree in August, 1991.
Thereafter, had his Masters Programme in Personnel Psychology and bagged a Professional Masters Degree of MPP (Masters of Personnel Psychology) in November, 2011.
PROFESSIONAL CAREER
Mr. Akinrinade’s professional working career spanning 27 years started with the Kebbi State Polytechnic, Birnin-Kebbi, Kebbi State, as a Lecturer II in General Studies from 1991 to 1994. He joined the Lagos State Public Service as a Personnel Officer I on GL.09 at the Lagos State Broadcasting Corporation and rose to the Position of Director, Administration after which he was among those transferred to the Mainstream of the Civil Service in February, 2016.
Since joining the Mainstream of the Civil Service, he has served in various Ministries/Agencies. Amongst which are; Ministry of Information and Strategy, Public Service Office briefly, Civil Service Commission, Office of Transformation, Creativity and Innovation (OTCI), Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), Lagos State Health Management Agency (LASHMA) and was transferred to Office of Chief of Staff as Director, Special Services in December, 2018.
Mr. Akinrinade is a Chartered Administrator and also a Fellow of Institute of Public Diplomacy & Management (IPDM). He has attended many local training courses and on two occasions International Course in Leadership and Good Governance twice in 2017 at the Uongozi Leadership Training Institute in Tanzania.
He loves reading, travelling and playing Table Tennis. He is widely travelled and happily married with children.
