Mrs. Dasouza-Olowofela was born on the 14th of March 1963 to the family of Dasouza in Lagos State, Lagos Island Division. She started her primary education at Marywood Primary School, Ebute-Metta, Lagos and was at United Christian, Apapa, Lagos for her secondary education.
She proceeded to University of Ibadan, Oyo State for a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Theatre Art (1986). She holds a post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication from University of Lagos and later had her Master Degree in Public Administration (Human Resources & Personnel Management) from Lagos State University, Ojo.
She started her public service career as an Information officer/mobilization officer, in the then Directorate for Social Mobilization & Economic Recovery (MAMSER), 1990–1993. She moved into main Federal Civil Service, as Personnel Officer, in the National Orientation Agency, (NOA); 1993-1999.
She transferred her Service to Lagos State Public Service in 1999 and worked as Principal Administrative officer, Office of the Head of Service; 1999-2004.
Mrs. Olowolafe was deployed to Land Use and Allocation Committee, Lands Bureau; 2004-2006. She got redeployed to Office of the Head of Service, (Welfare Matters Department), 2006 to 2009. She was posted the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Maryland, Ikeja; 2009 to 2011.
In June 2011, she was redeployed to Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Department of Finance and Administration and rose to become the a full-fledge Director in the Ministry; 2015. She later moved to Lagos State Records and Archives Bureau (LASRAB) as Director Admin & Human Resources/Bureau Secretary; 2016-2017.
She came Director Admin & Human Resource, Office of the Secretary to the State Government/Cabinet Office.; 2017 to 2020 and was deployed to Office of the Chief of Staff; February 2020 to date. Professionally, Mrs. Olowofela is a Fellow, Human Resources Management and a member, National Institute of Management (NIM). She is a devout Christian and happily married with children.
