Mrs. Ogungbe Bolaji Rafat – HEAD, PROCUREMENT UNIT
PROFILE OF MRS. OGUNGBE BOLAJI RAFAT-
Mrs. Ogungbe Bolaji Rafat (Nee Majolagbe), Chief Procurement Officer was born on 4th April 1976.
She is a native of Ikorodu in Lagos State. She started her education sojourn at Nigerian Army Resettlement Centre Primary School, Cappa, Oshodi between 1982 to 1987. She was at Ilupeju Grammar School 1987-1988 and later went to Methodist Girls High School Yaba from 1989 to 1993.
She also attended Command Day Secondary School, Ikeja, from 1993 to 1994. Afterwards, she proceeded to Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education Oto, Ijanikin 1995 to 1998, and obtained National Certificate in Education (NCE) in Home-Economics. She proceeded to Lagos State University (LASU OJO) for her Bsc. in Health Education (Sandwish Programme) from 1999 to 2002.
Furtherance to Acquisition of Knowledge, she attended National Open University 2012 to 2014, for a Masters in Educational Administration and Planning. In 2014, she sat and passed the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria examination and became a certified Graduate member of the Institute. She also joined the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) in 2007.
She is a Member of Home Science Association of Nigeria and The Association of Public Procurement Association of Nigeria (APPON).
Before Joining the Lagos State Teaching Service, Mrs Ogungbe had worked at Federal Institute of Industrial Research, Oshodi (Temporarily for 6 Months), Dee Unique International School and St Michael Model College Egbeda as a Teacher from 2000-2004. She was employed into the Lagos State Teaching Service Commission (District One) on 7th January, 2007 as Education Officer 11 and posted to Girls’ Senior Secondary School, Agege. In 2012 she moved her Service to the Mainstream Civil Service and re-designated from the post of Education Officer 1 GL O9 to Procurement Officer 1, GL 09 and deployed to the Ministry of Education as a part of the Pioneer Procurement Officers; 2012- 2013.
She was later deployed to Central Business District (CBD) 2013 to 2015 and subsequently to Office of the Chief of Staff in 2015 and rose to Head of the Procurement Unit in April, 2023.
She is happily married with children.
