ALAKA, RAOLAT, OLADOYIN (MRS) was born on 23rd March, 1960 in Lagos Island, Lagos State. She attended Mayflower School, Ikenne, Ogun State for her primary and secondary school education (between 1966 to 1977).
She had an Associate Degree at Minneapolis Community College, 1979-1981. She was at University of Minnesota, United States of America; for a Bachelor of Science degree in Foods and Nutrition, from 1981 to 1983. She had a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) at University of Ilorin, Kwara State; 1994 and Masters in Educational Administration (MED); University of Lagos, 1999.
She did her National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) at Nestle Nigeria PLC in 1985 to 1986. She joined Lagos State Civil Service as an Education Officer (Masters Grade II, Grade Level 8) at Post Primary Teaching Service Commission from July 1987 and rose to the post of Principal Education Officer in 1999.
Mrs Alaka transferred her service the main stream of the civil service and was deployed to Ministry of Rural Development and Infrastructure October, 1999 to March, 2003. Later, Office of the Deputy Governor from March 2003 to December 2006. She was also at the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) from December 2006 to April 2009.
From April 2009 to July 2015, she was in the Public Service Office as Assistant Director, Post Service Department from where she was deployed to Office of the Chief of Staff as Director Special Services and in year 2018 she became the Director Administration and Human Resources.
Mrs. Alaka is a Member of many local and international organizations among which are; America Institute of Dieticians, Chartered Institute of Management and Charted Institute of Personnel Management.
For her human capacity development, she has attended many conferences, seminars and lecture to improve her efficiency in service delivery in the State Civil Service.
She likes reading, swimming, singing and dancing.
