She was born on the 18th of April, 1962 at Lagos Island Maternity, Lagos.
She attended Mushin District Council Primary School, Mushin from 1968-1973 for her First Leaving Certificate, thereafter proceeded to Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School, Ijebu Ode from 1974 to 1979 for the West Africa School Certificate.
She obtained National Diploma in Accountancy (Upper Credit) from Lagos state College of Science and Technology (now Lagos State Polytechnic) Isolo (1981-1983). She did the one year Industrial Attachment at Deji Odulami &Co, chartered Accountant after which she went back for the two year HND programme from 1984-1986 in the same school.
She proceeded for her National Youth Service Corp at Angwe Asen Nig Ltd, Gboko, Benue State as an Accounts supervisor in 1986/87 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in May 1989. She became an Associate of the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) in 1992, an Associate member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria in 1993 and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria in 2002, She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
She trained as a Chartered Accountant/Auditor with one of the 4 big accounting firms, KPMG Audit. Joined Peat Marwick Ani Ogunde &Co. and a qualified trainee in 1990. she rose to the level of an Asst. Manager and left KPMG Audit in Dec. 1997 to Femsol Associate.
She joined the Lagos State civil service in March 2002 as an Auditor in the office of the State Auditor General and rose to the position of the Deputy Director.
She was the Pioneer head of the System Audit Directorate, being a new unit then, setting it up had a lot of challenges and suffered a lot of setbacks but through resilience and focus became a full fledge directorate and even became the envy of other directorate in OSAG.
She was deployed to the Central Internal Audit Department in February, 2014 and became the Deputy Director Central Internal Audit Department in December 2015. She is happily married with children.
