MR. DUROWOJU SHARAFA-DEEN ALAO- Director, Project Monitoring And Implementation Unit

Mr Durowoju, Sharafa-deen Alao was born on 3rd October, 1965 in Mushin to the family of Chief Hammed Alhaji Wusamotu Ayoka Durowoju. He attended St. Philips primary School, Olorunshogo, Mushin in the year 1976 and proceeded to Ibadan Grammar School, Molete Ibadan where he obtained his west Africa School Certificate in July 1982. Mr. Durowoju then moved to the Ogun State Polytechnic Abeokuta, where he obtained National Diploma in Laboratory Science Technology in 1985. He made a brief stint at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Technology Degree in Industrial Chemistry.

 

Mr. Durowoju joined the service of the Lagos State Government as a Legislative officer II on 22nd February 1993 at the Lagos state House of Assembly. He obtained his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Lagos state University (LASU) in the year 2002 while in service on the sponsor of the Lagos State Government. He is a member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM).

 

The officer had served in different Ministries, Agencies and departments such as Lagos State House of Assembly, Ministry of Establishment, Pension and Training, Public Service Office, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Special Duties, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Office of Transformation and Innovation, Parastatals Monitoring Office (PMO), Ministry of Home Affairs and presently Deputy Director, Project Implementation and Monitoring Unit (PIMU), Office of Chief of staff.

 

He is happily married with children.
